Lenten SoulCollage®: A Virtual, Creative Practice

Three dates – all Zoom – you are invited to attend one, two, or three!

Marie Kovitch is a trained facilitator for the practice of SoulCollage®, a
simple yet meaningful collage process that uses clipped images and 5″ x 8″
cards. It is a wonderful process that helps enhance transformation
personally and spiritually. And no artistic ability is needed whatsoever!

• Lenten Offering – Friday, March 12, 6:30-8:30pm – Offered right in the
middle of Lent to allow us to pause, remember, and honor this
season creatively by making cards with our own chosen images that
are meaningful to us.
• Easter Saturday Offering – Saturday April 3, 2-4pm (change of time
from February Messenger E-Blast) – Offered day before Easter to
meditatively create cards in between Good Friday and the
Resurrection.
• Beginner’s Workshop [not required for the others above] – Saturday,
February 27, 5:30-8:30pm – This my regularly scheduled Beginner’s
Workshop if anyone is also interested in learning about the process of
SoulCollage® in a more comprehensive way prior to the Lenten
offerings. The suggested fee is $30, but I will work with anyone who
is tight on funds at this time. SoulCollage® is a way of honoring
ourselves, where we create personal deck of cards, with each card
representing a part of ourselves that influences our lives.

Email Marie at mrsjoe4586@gmail.com for any questions on or to reserve
your spot, so I can get some simple materials to you.

St. Matt’s Youth & Family Lenten Journey: A Lenten Journey with our
children ~ and even our “adult children”

From Johnna Rogers: I will be leading Arden & Lil through a multi-sensory
Lenten Experience and welcome you to join us. I will be following Amanda
White’s book, A SENSE of the RESURRECTION: An Easter Experience
for Families. “Each activity is designed either to make a memory with your
child or to set up a memorial in your house. These memories/memorials will
literally change the way your home looks so that you can’t help but focus
on Jesus, His death and resurrection during this holiday season.”

I will be posting 11 activities throughout Lent on Wednesdays and
Saturdays, but you are welcome to do them as your schedule allows. We
will wrap up this Lenten journey with a socially distanced and masked
picnic/bonfire at our home on Easter Vigil First Fire (with Father Joseph
and staff) on April 3, 2021. Stay tuned for more details to come on the
bonfire.

Join St. Matt’s Children and Family Group on Facebook
(https://www.facebook.com/groups/733205400667879) to join us in these
experiences and stay tuned for more activities throughout the year. We
welcome you to share a picture or reflection from your experience with
each activity in the comments below the activity. This will be a way we can
still experience it together while we are physically distanced. These
activities are accessible for those young of age and those young at heart.
Attached is the format of each activity or experience as well as a full supply
list for all activities. The supply list is a suggestion to get you prepared, but
you can modify any activity to suit the supplies you have on hand. Email
me at Jashleyg@gmail.com for any questions.
